Right now, roughly a third of the world sees temperatures that are dangerous to work in. By 2050 it will be far more.
Here is what “dangerous” actually means. Above about 35 degrees your skin can no longer shed heat by sweating alone, and past 45 the air is hotter than you are, so heat flows inwards.
The Middle East already lives with this. In the UAE, outdoor work is illegal between 12:30 and 3:00 every summer, which saves lives. But it also costs two and a half hours per worker per day, for a quarter of the year.
Every year, more countries face the same arithmetic. Air-conditioned buildings do not help the people outside them.
That’s why we built BREEZE; so you can continue to enjoy the outdoors even when it’s hot outside, and look good doing it.
For the Middle East today. For the rest of the world tomorrow.
Stay Cool. Stay Stylish. Stay Breezy.
